This unique water agate from Brazil is a fascinating natural specimen with a smooth, polished surface, smoky gray tones, and contrasting white mineral inclusions.

What makes this stone extra special is that it contains water trapped inside the agate. When you place a lamp or flashlight behind the stone, you can see the water inside. If you gently shake the stone, you can even hear the water sloshing softly.

In agates of this type, water becomes trapped in a sealed cavity during the stone’s formation. Because the agate has literally formed around it, this water 60 to 275 million years old. A beautiful and almost surreal piece of natural history right in your hand.
